Item Description:

1988 I was working with a local Calgary radio station.    I was able to qualify to be able to be acceditated to cover STS-26 which was the first lauch since the Challenger disaster.

The kit is very extensive covering all the rules all accredited media personel must follow, where to go, contact names, phone numbers, hotels, maps. Everything you needed to know to properly report on the launch.   Included a News Media Handbook packed with information on the Shuttle and the mission.

I have now had the privilege to have covered two Shuttle lauches. The video below is an accurate depiction of what it feels like to witness a Shuttle launch.  You feel the rumble in every organ in your body.
