Apollo 17 Command Module Mylar Covering KCSC

Item Description:

Produced and issued by the Kansas Cosmosphere Space Center (KCSC), this lucite display contains two small mylar samples removed from the Apollo 17 Command Module “America”.    Apollo 17 was the last Moon landing mission.

Inscribed on the underside, “This mylar covering from the exterior of the Apollo 17 Command Module fown in 1972 by Kansas astronaut Ron Evans, is presented to you in appreciation for your support and interest in the KCSC”.    The original KCSC offering to the public for these lucites was $500.00.   I do have the original small brown box with the original KCSC price tag still affixed.
