Calgary Traffic Watch/Radio Stations

In 1987 I started my radio career working as an unpaid intern at CKXL and FM96 Radio.  Eventually I took on paid positions as a Midnight Operator on CKXL and Producer of several different productions at FM96.

In March 1987 CHQR hired me as Air Traffic Reporter/Pilot flying out of Okotoks both mornings and afternoons.  On the weekends I took on the mid-day on-air shift as a Music Host playing and introducing contemporary soft adult music.

In July 1987, I was hired back at CKXL & FM96 as an Air Traffic Reporter/Pilot flying a C-172 out of Calgary and participating with both morning and afternoon drive shows. One of the highlights of this time was reporting above Calgary during the opening day of the 1988 Winter Olympics.    I held this position until April 1990.

In 1992 I returned to QR77 (CHQR) where I worked as a Reporter,  Talk Show  & Stampeders Football Technical Producer and Saturday night Music Host until July 1997.
