This is a vintage Pacific Western Airlines B737-200 series model in the “Original Colours” circa 1968.   This model is made by Topping Models of Akron, Ohio.   This was the livery Pacific Western Airlines used on all it’s aircraft when they first aquired their first Boeing jets in 1968.   In 1973 the airline added a dark navy blue tail and speed stripe thining towards the nose of the aircraft.  The Pacific Western wording was changed from navy blue to red and the logo was dropped from the nose.

This model is in fair condition for it’s age (47 years old) with considerable yellowing of the plastic on the fuselage and stand. Possibly from a smokers home. Surprisingly the decals are all in excellent condition with yellowing.   The nose and windshield area has a couple of significant scratches. The  plastic stand is in excellent condition and bears the Boeing 737 logo.
