Item Description:

All metal polished FomAer CF-18 Starfighter scale 1:48 scale produced after 1966 by the world famed Mr. Paolo Morgagni founder of the defunct FomAer Models of Misano Adriatico Italy.  This famous modeler produced the CF-18 from 1977.  This rare model came from the estate of a retired Canadian Officer who purchased this model in 1983 while serving in Germany at the time the CF-104 was phased out and Canada began taking delivery of the CF-18.

This model is in near mint condition with no decal wear, loss, yellowing or fading.   The only blemish on this model is the plastic windshield is cracked.  It is barely noticeable and shows extreamly well.   Not shown attached to this model are missiles which come with it and can be attached.  This is a rare and difficult model to find. The metal articulating base has a red Canada Maple Leaf emblem. The underside of the base has the Fomaer’s makers mark. Weighs approx 3lbs.
