This model is a 1:200 scale model of Canadian Pacifics DC-10 with Canadian civil registration C-FCRE.   This model was made by Air Jet Advance Models Inc. in Miami Florida.    The model is in mint condition with a modified Inflight 200 metal replacement base.  This is one of the heavy solid body models produced by Air Jet in the 1980’s.

In 1987 after being purchased by Pacific Western Airlines, CP Air reverted to an abreviated form of it’s original name, Canadian Pacific Airlines.    The airline changed it’s aircraft to this new colour scheme which included bilingual logo’s on each side of the aircraft.   On the right side of the aircraft you will see the French version “Canadien Pacifique” and on the left side of the aircraft the English version of “Canadian Pacific”.

This new livery was the genesis of once again another new airline in which was formed with the mergining of Pacific Western Airlines, Eastern Provincial Airlines, Nordair, CP Air and Wardair.  The airline’s logo’s were quickly changed to the new Canadian Airlines.
